2008-Apr-18 - Wildlife in my Backyard......
I tried to lure this ( obviously) married couple into my house with a piece of bread, but they were still too shy to cross my threshold. I hope they will return tomorrow! I also made a video.

| We had a couple make a nest under a bush by our front door quite a few years back. What a mess, had to wash down the walkway everyday from all of their doo doo. Then one year they hatched out 13 little ones. She would bring them around to the side yard to sunbath with them, it was cute, but they are messy. |

| Patty is correct, in stating the ducks are messy, but out in the rural areas, it's nice to have them around. They are wonderful for eating the ticks and bugs! This type of duck is one of my favorite, because the colors of the male are so magnificent. How adorable of this couple to pay a call on your home! :) |
